Planning a Disney Trip - 2022 Current Prices for Our Upcoming July Visit

Planning a Disney Trip - 2022 Current Prices for Our Upcoming July Visit

Updates since initial planning post:

    • Transportation
      • Seeing some extremely negative feedback for Mears Transportation so I am not even going to attempt their service (Note: I have not used them yet, but I have early flights and can't afford to have issues)
      • I will consider removing them from links unless they start providing answers for the poor feedback (Not just "We're sorry please call")
      • Going to use Uber or Lyft as prices are coming in around.
        1. Uber - Roughly $90 -$120 for a family of 4 - Round Trip
        2. Lyft - Roughly $80 - $110 for a family of 4 - Round Trip
    • Trip Category
      • I Would consider this an "All Out" trip as we have been saving since last year and this is our longest stay ever (7 Days in parks and 8 night stay)
      • Booked Dessert Party, Specialty Dining and "Enchanting Extras"
      • Still saving by staying at a value resort
      • I will post a detail look of the trip in one of the next posts so you can see what the days look like.

        • $99 per adult x 4  = $396

      • Disney food and drink budget = $2,200
      • Merchandise = $500 (Budgeted on High End)
      • Buffer = $700 (Budgeted on High End)

GRAND TOTAL $9,163
    • Why does it seem so high based on my previous estimates from my first planning post - going all out?
      • 2 extra days in parks (Roughly $652 Extra)
      • 2 extra hotel days (Roughly $332 Extra)
      • 2 Specialty Packages ( Dessert Party = $396 and Caring for Giants = $140)
      • Include Airport food and drink ( Roughly $100)
      • Buffer Factor (Roughly $700)
      • Merchandise (Roughly $500)
      • Taking an extra guest (4 instead of 3 people so that's why merch and buffer are high)

Subtract that out and compare to original post for all out.....$6,343

    • AGAIN - Budget ahead of time and plan, plan and plan some more
    • I am fortunate enough to put away $100 a week and never touch.  Discipline yourself
      • It makes paying for things like this easier.
    • Not too bad considering my original post with all out and inflation.
